Today in Room 4 we used different types of equipment to make repeating patterns. We learned that you can change the COLOUR, SHAPE and SIZE to make a patttern.

 

Library Day

Today we went to the library in Room 4, just like we do every Friday. We really enjoy sitting on the couches, cushions and seats in the library while we read all the great books in there. Sometimes we like to read on our own and sometimes we like to read with a buddy.

Persuasive Writing

Heating and Cooling

We have been doing some science in Room 4 all to do with Heating and Cooling. We have seen what happens when we boil water and this afternoon we did an experiment with ice cubes.

Wilbur visits!

This morning Emily brought in a little piglet to show us. His name is Wilbur and he is only a few weeks old. Emily and her family are taking care of him because he has lost his mum. Isn't he cute?

We are such hard workers in Room 4! Today during maths time we had groups on the Interactive Whiteboard practising their skills.

Rugby Superstars!

This morning I went and watched the first week of rugby. I saw lots of Room 4 involved - Xavier, Robbie, Jack, Ben, George, Regan, Royden, Angus and Ella. I was really impressed with the positive attitude of all the teams and the number of tries scored. I bet you will all have a great season!
