Clever Readers!

In Room 4, we have been working on using good reading comprehension strategies. Today Escher, Ben and Regan read the story Rumpelstiltskin. They were learning to SUMMARIZE the story so after they read the story, they completed a story pyramid. They had to work together and share their ideas. They worked really hard on their activity. Well done boys!

Heating and Cooling

We have been doing some science in Room 4 all to do with Heating and Cooling. We have seen what happens when we boil water and this afternoon we did an experiment with ice cubes.

Now look what has happened, the ice cubes have melted!

We are such hard workers in Room 4! Today during maths time we had groups on the Interactive Whiteboard practising their skills.

Rugby Superstars!

This morning I went and watched the first week of rugby. I saw lots of Room 4 involved - Xavier, Robbie, Jack, Ben, George, Regan, Royden, Angus and Ella. I was really impressed with the positive attitude of all the teams and the number of tries scored. I bet you will all have a great season!
